What it says on the tin. I paint a small amount daily onto the Warmachine models I have everyday

Painting Hiatus
I've gotten quite far along with all of my painting. Yesterday I cleaned my house, and managed to pack all of my Warmachine stuff. Rather than get everything back out to add one or two specks of paint to my models, I thought I'd take a week long hiatus. I'm also going to be off for Labor Day weekend, so I'll probably restart on September 2nd.

Disgraceful
Today has been a long day at work, so unfortunately, I didn't paint much today. How little? I painted the cross on the Choir's leader. Yes, that's really it:

Another Reason I'm Not a Singer
Have I mentioned the Choir models are a complete pain yet? They keep falling and breaking every time I touch them. Anyway, the gold should be done on them, but there is still plenty of places to touch up errant marks:

Choir Repair
Between yesterday and this evening I managed to drop two members of the Choir. Both were in various unpainted stages, and as such were not painted upon tonight, and rather repaired. There was one other Choir trooper remaining, so he got painted:

Sanguine - About Half Choir
I got Sanguine Base onto about half of the Choir. I say about half because I finished painting on two of the models and only put a little paint on the third:

Vassal - First Coat Completion
I've gotten the first coat of the Vassal done tonight. Made the boot "wraps" brown, painted the sanguine, and turned the hair black:

New Menoth Models - Menoth White Base
I'm not a huge fan of the Base color of Menoth White, but it's been applied to the Choir and Vassal:

Widowmakers - Bronze
Painting the Widowmakers continues, Bronze is next:
Flesh in the faces, grey on the coats, a coat for the wood, and a lot of white on the Marksman is all that remains.

Widowmakers in Black
See Title!
I've seen some growing problems with painting the leather, as the paint isn't sticking. Also, things tend to look sloppy until I can finish the first coat and do a repaint.

Widowmaker Leather Painting
Getting down to business again, two Widowmakers and the Marksman got their cloaks painted:
Late Night Edit
Not sure how often I'll ever do something like this, but I did paint a little more tonight. Specifically, the other two Widowmakers:
Heh, I missed the leader's (right/female) boots though

Long Hard Day #2
Another Long Day, so I'll keep the commentary on the low end: Pig Iron on the metals of the Widowmakers and Marksman (the War Dog on the other hand I'll be going with mostly Bronze):

A Long Hard Day
It's been one heck of a work day today (and it appears it will be continuing through the rest of the week).
Today I got colored all of the metal on the Vassal:

An Odd (Khador Red) Day
Today has felt weird from the very beginning. Every task I had planned was finished, and in record time, but with no serious effort undertaken. My painting for today matched this trend as well. First I made my touch-ups on the factory model casting errors (just one example to show today):
Note that while I didn't get the crease on the legplate entirely, it is less visible
As for new painting:
The new Khador models got their Khador Red. It's an the oddity that an important color to Khador isn't used very much on these models. However, I'll also point out that while I grabbed the Widowmakers (who are guaranteed to deal 1 damage against an opposing model), I neglected to notice how few "1 HP" models my current Menoth have (Only the Choir, who weren't present in the original starter set).

Metal Scraps
Friday has been a busy day for me for the past two months or so. I got rid the metallic scraps that were from factory molding. The largest of these were square pegs left on the hands of two Choir members
Everything removed
It hadn't occurred to me until now that some of the Starter models need some similar TLC treatment.
On the bright side, I now have some minimum goals for the weekend's painting: Remove and repaint any factory errors, and prime my new models for painting.

Cleaning New Models and Touching Up Warcasters
I let my new models rest in soapy water and are currently letting them dry:
In the meantime, I put some touches to both Sorscha and Kreoss. Sorscha got some more lines around her armor, while Kreoss now sports a Menoth White Base on its armor where previously metal was present. The pauldrons got Menoth White as well (covering the previously painted menofixes). As I mentioned before I'm waiting until near the end before I paint those.

More Gluing
I finished up gluing the new units.
The Choir were the biggest issue to finish. Between the breaking Menofixes and the fact they were too small to fit into their base slots. Other issues include the Widowmakers being too big for their base slots, and the War Dog having gaps between the pieces.

Finally, I glued the Crotchplates back onto the other three Shocktroopers:

No Painting Tonight...
Instead, I assembled some newly picked up models:
The models bought were suggested multiple times on forums to get both armies up to 25 points:
Menoth (21 points)
-Choir (Unit of 4 for 2 points)
-Vassal (For 2 points)
25 Points
Khador (20 points)
-War Dog (1 point)
-Widowmakers (Unit of 4 for 4 points)
-Widowmaker Marksman (2 points)
27 Points (Will remove the Marksman or reduce the Shocktroopers to 3 members)
Some issues cropped p early as the Choir had lost a few menofixes on the tops of the staffs.
It probably wasn't the best repair strategy, but I superglued the offending menofix back on.
Everything got some glue though, but not everything is finished. I decided to get something else done due to late night working.
I've gone through a few other hobbies and have formed the recommended opinion about purchasing and using: Don't go on a major spending spree when you may up and quit in a month. Since I can now play with the Two-Player Starter models without too much scrutiny, I'll allow myself to move on in expanding the hobby. Here's to new experiences!

Crusader Touchups
Fists (Gold), Loincloth and Fists (Sanguine), Face (Menoth White and Sanguine), Menofixes (Black), Spikes (Gold)
The Crusader has been nearly finished. I'm waiting until the very end before I paint Menofixes onto the heavy warjacks, as there are plenty of nooks and crannies on the pauldrons.

Cinerator Sanguine Touchups Complete
I made the time this morning to finish the Sanguine edges on the Cinerators.
All of the Cinerators aren't done yet, as each has a number of spots that need painting (especially the sword handles).

Quick Paint Night - Flesh
I've had a long day, so I could only afford to make a quick paint:
The pictures are a little blurry, but I think you can see the scope of work: Both the Shocktrooper Leader and Sorscha got a layer of Khardic Flesh to their faces.
